Indian Overseas Bank is pleased to announce the successful organization of special events for self-help groups across all districts of TN
Chennai, the event took place on the 26th of July 2023 at the AIOBEU, Swastika Community Welfare Centre. The bank, in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Livelihood Promotion Society, aims to promote financial literacy and empower self-help groups through these initiatives.
The esteemed event was graced by the presence of notable dignitaries, including Tmt. S. Srimathy, Executive Director of Indian Overseas Bank, and Thiru N. Srinivasan, Project Officer of TNULM.
and Thiru Mohan M, General Manager and Convenor of SLBC-TN as esteemed guests.
In today’s event, we were delighted to have the esteemed presence of Chennai District Collector, Mrs. M Aruna IAS, who expressed her gratitude as the special guest for the occasion. Chennai-1 and Chennai-2 constituencies alone have witnessed 97 beneficiaries benefitting from loans worth Rs. 16.58 crores extended by Indian Overseas Bank.
