Shrine Vailankani Senior Secondary school completes 60 years of meritorious service.
Chennai, August 2024: Shrine Vailankani Senior Secondary School among the well known schools in T.Nagar celebrated its Diamond Jubilee, commemorating 60 years of educational innovation, academic achievement, and community dedication recently.
Correspondent, Mrs B K K Pillai said, “Founded in 1964, the school has consistently been a pioneer in providing comprehensive and forward-thinking educational experience, nurturing students to excel both academically and personally.”

These advancements represent a significant leap forward in our mission to prepare students for the demands of the 21st century” said K T Pillai Secretary of the VSS School.
The Awards were given to Dr K Ganesan, President Hindu Educational Organisation, Mrs Shyamala Jayaprakash, General Secretary, Asan Memorial Association, Mrs Sheela Rajendra, Dean, Director & Correspondent PSBB Group of Schools, Mr L S Prabhakaran, Correspondent, Santiniketan Public School, Theni, Dr Asha Boaz, CEO Boaz Public School. The Distinguished Alumni Awards were presented Mr T Venkatarangan,The Founder Catalyst & Honorary Microsoft Regional Director & to Dr J Hariharan Principal Dentist JGHR Total Dental Care.
The school’s new infrastructure will soon feature state-of-the-art AI labs and interactive learning environments, designed to integrate Generative AI technologies into our curriculum. These facilities will offer students hands-on experience with AI tools, fostering a deeper understanding of artificial intelligence and its applications. The initiative will support personalized learning paths, enabling students to engage with tailored educational content and innovative problem-solving methods. By incorporating AI into our teaching practices, we aim to enhance creativity, critical thinking, and technical skills among our students.
In his address Dr G Viswanathan, Chancellor VIT said “Increase Medical Seats like Engineering, many of the current issues in Education will disappear. Speaking at the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Shrine Vailankanni SS School he said that in UK they admit 400 students every year, China admits 600 while India admits 150 only. That is why many students go away to foreign countries like Ukraine and others countries to pursue medical education. Both the State government and Central Government and all concerned should work together so that India does not loose brilliant people to other countries. In most countries the political parties do not interfere in the policies of education. Only this kind of an approach is going to help the future of India.
Mr Dinesh Ram, Guest of Honour, Regional Officer underscored CBSE s focus and said it is actively involved in equipping students with competencies necessary for the highly competitive Future. Aligning Education with Global Standards and emerging Technologies is critical he added.
